Very recently I stumbled upon this Journey of Tulse Luper and have become quite enchanted by it. In the span of about 48 hours I have completed the majority of the suitcase games available to me. I am quite certain that given some time and patience I would be able to successfully complete those suitcases in which the conclusion has thus far eluded me. However, I find it hard to sustain motivation for this when it seems that the aqusition of those few more filmstrips is as far as I will be able to get in this game as I can't seem to find even one other person online with which to trade, buy from...or whatever it is that needs to be to done to aquire films that i can't get on my own. Further, after reading some of these posts I'm unsure as to whether the game was ever completed, if it's ongoing, or if it's been abandoned alltogether. Excuse these long ramblings, but I am kind of frusterated. It's rather akin to immersing youself in a good book only to find that the second half is missing or perhaps was never even written. I gather that this seems to have been a time sensitive game or even a competition...so, all that to say this...What's up with this game? Is anyone still playing or is this just a piece of unfinished history floating around on the internet? Again, sorry for rambling, but if my time spent at this site is any indication no one will be reading this anyway

As you see, the response to your call is somewhat disappointing. Speaking for myself, I was emerged in the game for quite some time and until about a year ago I was still quite fond of it. However, two things happened that tempered my enthousiasm. One was the introduction of a few games that I wasn't able to finish, which wouldn't have mattered if it hadn't tampered my progress more than I hoped, because of the second thing. This was the introduction of the last 15 games in one go, and only granting access to those who had finished the first 77. I had no more reason to finish one or even play anymore. I'd be more than happy to give you all the layers I own (the minimovies are still wonderful), and I will try to be online a few times the coming days. |

For sure, and thank you for trying. It has occured to me that the players of this game are scattered around the globe and that the time differences might be a hinderance to our connecting. However I am stubborn and I don't like to start something and not finish it so I'm still trying.
